Ånnsjön part 1/2 - In Great Snipe territory

I got home from my trip to Lake Ånnsjön bird observatory last week. The observatory is 450 kilometers north from here, and the bird fauna is very different from what I'm used to in Västmanland.
I spent three weeks there, and got home with many great memories. I took around 10 000 photos during these weeks.

Curlew - Storspov – Nagy póling (Numenius arquata)

Arctic Tern - Silvertärna – Sarki csér (Sterna paradisaea)

Teal - Kricka - Csörgő réce (Anas crecca)

The highlight of this trip was without a doubt the night i spent on a moore in a sleeping bag, surrounded by at least 40 Great Snipes. I may have said this too many times lately, but this was an unforgettable experience!
The birds were very active from 23 pm till I left, around 6 am. The sun rose at 03:07.
