When a class gets cancelled...

... I'm not getting too bored. Here is today's harvest:

I hadn't had time to upload pictures on the blog lately, but that is becouse I went out a lot the past few days. But here are some pictures from the day before yesterday:

And yesterday, I went to Stockholm. Not a lot of birds, but I really enjoyed the Lesser Black-backed Gulls. Unfortunately I didn't have more than 3-4 minutes to take pictures of them. I gladly would have standed on Sergel's Square or by the water only to watch them for an hour or so, but I couldn't. Maybe some other time...

The first day

Today I tested my new camera for the first time, a Canon EOS 7D with a used, but still very good Canon EF 400/5,6L USM lens that I bought two weeks ago. I've been photographing birds since 2008, but this is my first system camera. Before, I used a Canon Powershot S3 IS and a Canon Powershot SX10 IS. I must say, it is very different!
